Amber Malik Sheikh
Founder

Amber Malik Sheikh is the founder of ALIA. Amber grew up in a home immersed in the rich languages of Urdu, Kashmiri and Punjabi. She studied Spanish and Arabic. Amber believes that learning a language builds confidence, increases awareness of one’s own identity and fosters a deep respect for all cultures. She is also co-founder of Gem, a Dallas-based youth mentorship program.

Amber holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting & Marketing and a Master’s in Hospitality & Asset Management from New York University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education from Northeastern University.

She resides in Plano TX with her husband and their four children. She is an active parent and a devoted community member. Amber has a passion for languages and a strong desire to spread this love to the next generation.
